When Elly and Fred Firestein decided to have a family, they never guessed that their genes would combine to produce such an annoying nerve-wracking little rugrat as a result.
The "result" of their urge to procreate is about the size of a fire hydrant. The boy has been provided with a frightening amount of self-confidence, a formidable precociousness and an embarrassingly big mouth.
A love-hate relationship binds him to the neighbors' daughter, Carol. In his words, "She's really got something of Madonna about her!" When asked exactly what, he answers, "A full-color glossy with an autograph -- what else?"
